About
David J. Olevson joined Zuber & Company LLP in
2018 and joined the Partnership in 2021. David practices exclusively in civil
litigation. His practice focuses on commercial and insurance litigation,
specializing in the fields of bodily injury, property damage, occupiers’
liability, subrogation, commercial disputes, and landlord/tenant disputes.
David is recognized for his ability to engage a wide variety of litigation
techniques to ensure a vigorous yet cost-effective representation for his
clients.
David graduated from Huron University College at the
University of Western Ontario in 2010 with an Honours Degree in Political
Science. He then attended Queen’s University Law School and spent a semester
abroad at the University of Groningen in The Netherlands. David graduated in
2013 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2014. Since that time he has
practiced exclusively in the civil litigation field, representing insurers,
corporations, and individuals in a practical, efficient and effective manner.
David has written numerous legal articles and
presented throughout Ontario on topics including waivers, sporting venue, and
resort liability, and winter maintenance obligations. His ability to orate
intricate legal principles in a fluent and concise manner has proven a
significant benefit to his clients.
When not in Court, David can be found traveling to
countries around the world, including Australia, New Zealand, and throughout
Europe. Having been born and raised in the Toronto area, David is an avid
Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors fan.
