Responsibilities
- Craft comprehensive SEO strategies that encompass both on-page and off-page SEO elements. This includes conducting site audits to identify technical improvements, and developing a roadmap for implementing these SEO best practices.
- Perform extensive keyword research using various tools. Identify high-value keywords and phrases to target, and develop a keyword strategy to increase rankings and traffic.
- Collaborate with content and web development teams to ensure the website is optimized for search engines. This includes optimizing meta tags, headers, and content for target keywords, as well as improving site structure and URL optimization.
- Develop and execute a link-building strategy to improve the site's authority and rankings. This involves identifying opportunities for guest blogging, partnerships, and other link-building tactics.
- Utilize tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush to track and report on the performance of SEO strategies. Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
- Monitor competitor SEO activity and market changes to stay ahead in search rankings. Analyze competitor websites and backlink strategies to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and best practices. Regularly attend webinars, workshops, and other educational opportunities to enhance SEO knowledge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, or similar.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
- Experience with SEO reporting and data analysis.
- Proficient in HTML/CSS, with a basic understanding of web development and website architecture.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with other teams and explaining complex SEO concepts in a clear manner.
